Natasha, Pierre, & The Great Comet of 1812

I had the opportunity to design this musical during the Fall 2023 season at Penn State Centre Stage. It featured many design challenges including cast staging in the house, audience seating in a dropped pit and "box seats" on the sides of the stage, and roving musicians. I created this system with these challenges in mind, and to immerse the audience in our concept of an "End of the World Party." Photos by William Wellman and Quinn McDonald
